HongJing,directoroftheInstituteofElectronicScienceandTechnologyInformationoftheMinistryofIndustryandInformationTechnology,saidinChengduafewdaysagothattheemergingcountrymarketwillbecomeanewengineforthedevelopmentoftheglobalelectronicinformationindustry,andChinaisexpectedtosurpasstheUnitedStateswithinthreetofiveyears,becomingtheworld'slargestElectronicproductmarket. Atthe11thChinaInternationalSoftwareCooperationFairheldonApril11,HongJingyireleasedthe"2012WorldInformationTechnologyIndustryDevelopmentAnnualReport".Thisreportprovidesacomprehensiveandin-depthanalysisofthedevelopmentoftheglobalelectronicinformationindustryin2012. HongJingyisaidthatunderthecombinedeffectofvariousfactors,thegrowthrateofproductionandsalesofglobalelectronicinformationproductsmanufacturingindustryin2012furthersloweddown.Theoutputvalueoftheglobalelectronicinformationindustrymanufacturingindustryin2011was4.8%,only1.54%in2012,andthegrowthrateofoutputvalueofvarioussub-productsdidnotexceed5%,ofwhichnegativegrowthoccurredinthefieldsofconsumerelectronics. Thereportpointedoutthattheelectronicinformationproductsmarketindevelopedcountrieshasgenerallyshrunk,andemergingcountriesshouldertheheavyresponsibilityofindustrialgrowth.Amongthetoptencountries,themarketgrowthrateofmorethan5%isonlyChina,Brazil,India,threeBRICcountries;theUSmarketgrowthrateisonly1%,Japanandotherdevelopedcountriesevenhavenegativegrowth“ChinaelectronicsmarketItisexpectedtosurpasstheUnitedStateswithinthreetofiveyearsandbecometheworld'slargestelectronicsmarket.”HongJingsaid. Thereportbelievesthattheworld'selectronicinformationindustrywillcontinuetogrowinthenextthreeyears,andthestatusofemergingeconomieswillcontinuetorise.Itisestimatedthatby2015,theglobalmarketwillreach2.1trillionUSdollars,withanaverageannualgrowthrateofabout4%.Fromtheperspectiveofregionalpattern,themarketshareofAsiaandotheremergingeconomieswillcontinuetogrow.ThemarketshareofdevelopedeconomiessuchastheUnitedStates,EuropeandJapanwilldeclineslightly,andtheemergingmarketwillbecomeanewengineforthedevelopmentoftheglobalelectronicinformationindustry.
